THAT ONE NUT COULD BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WALKING AWAY AND NOT. 🏁

Not all hardware belongs on a race car.

Finn’s showing us a harness anchor point where a stainless nut has been used, and the threads have been severely damaged.

There’s barely any thread left holding that connection together.

Now think about what that anchor point is supposed to do when things go wrong at speed.

That’s your safety harness. That’s what’s meant to hold you in place.

There’s a reason we take hardware selection seriously, especially when it comes to safety-critical components.

Use the correct grade. Use the correct hardware. Don’t take shortcuts with safety.

Got concerns about your race car’s mounting points or fabrication?

When the world goes to shit, make sure your fabrication doesn’t. 🔥

Mad Tim is ready for the apocalypse—with a proper roll cage, side-exit exhaust and enough welded steel to survive the wasteland.

Your build might not need to outrun raiders, but it does need to be properly fabricated for what you’re asking it to do.

Got a race car or project car needing a roll cage, custom exhaust, repairs or fabrication? Flick Shores NZ Fabrication a message with a few photos and let’s get it sorted.

Where should we send Tim next? 😂

That car project that’s been sitting in the shed since 1985?

It’s time to bring it back to the future. ⚡️

Whether it needs custom fabrication, a roll cage, exhaust work, repairs or modifications, stop waiting for lightning to strike—and stop telling everyone you’ll get to it “one day.”

Flick Shores NZ Fabrication a message with a few photos and let’s get the bloody thing moving.
