Step 1: Apply

Adjust the trigger nozzle to produce a fine mist. Spray Wheelmuck+ evenly onto cool, dry wheels.

For best results, clean one or two wheels at a time.

Step 2: Allow to React

Leave the cleaner on the wheel for approximately 2–3 minutes.

As Wheelmuck+ reacts with iron contamination from brake dust, the formula changes colour from yellow to red and purple.

If any areas begin drying or turning brown, lightly reapply the cleaner before rinsing.

Step 3: Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse the wheel thoroughly using a strong jet of water from a hose or pressure washer.

For stubborn brake dust, ceramic brake pad deposits, grease or tyre dressing residue, lightly agitate with a soft wheel brush and rinse again.

Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the wheel.

Wheelmuck+ uses a colour-changing formula to show its reaction with iron contamination from brake dust.

Yellow: The original colour when first applied. Little or no colour change may indicate minimal iron contamination or brake dust from ceramic brake pads.

Red: The formula has started reacting with iron particles.

Purple: The reaction is progressing and brake dust contamination is being loosened.

Dark Purple: The reaction is well underway and the cleaner should be rinsed off before it begins drying.

Brown: The reaction may be reversing as the product dries. Reapply a small amount to the affected area before rinsing.

Important: Not all brake dust will cause a strong colour change. Ceramic brake pad dust, grease, dirt and tyre dressing residue may require gentle agitation with a soft brush.

For Best Results

Use Wheelmuck+ specifically for brake dust and iron contamination.

For wheels heavily covered in mud, oil or general off-road grime, use a suitable automotive cleaner first to remove surface dirt before treating remaining brake dust.

Always test on a small, inconspicuous area before applying to an unfamiliar surface or coating.

Before Use

• Read the product label and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

• Apply only to cool, dry wheels.

• Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.

• Avoid use on damaged, badly deteriorated or heavily corroded wheels.

• Tarnishing may occur on older corroded clips and traditional wheel balancing weights.

• Oxidation may occur on zinc-plated, cadmium-plated or certain untreated metal surfaces.

• Test compatibility before use on specialist finishes, coatings or unfamiliar surfaces.

• Rinse surrounding surfaces and driveways thoroughly after application to help prevent staining.
